Events

In-game events run on a schedule — limited-time droids, boosted drop rates, and special weekends. Times are Eastern Time (ET).

Where events get announced

Events are short (some run only ~2-hour sessions) and notice is thin. The best channel is the official Droid Tycoon Discord (run by the devs — updates, patch notes, sneak peeks). Also: the in-game events board and Sandcrawler timers, the developers on X (@FoadZone and @BLZNDEV), Epic community threads, and r/StarWarsDroidTycoon. We watch all of them and post times here the moment they're confirmed.

DJ R-3X Event — Color Rush The DJ R-3X event is a co-op crate event: open crates with your companion, deliver 30 to trigger a Color Rush where every droid that spawns is one variant (Gold, Diamond, Rainbow…). Live Saturday, June 13. Jun 13, 2026
