Mythic AstromechBB-8 is a Mythic Astromech droid in Star Wars: Droid Tycoon — a +5% factory-wide income boost plus a companion ability. Earned in its event, or bought as an Iconic Droid for 30 Nova Crystals via Super Rebirth.

How to get it
Hand in 10 BB units to Poe Dameron (by his X-Wing near the Sandcrawler) while the BB-8 event is live.
Missed the event? Since the June 9 update, Mythics are also Iconic Droids — purchasable for 30 Nova Crystals at the Iconic vendor in the Nova Shop (available at the vendor now). Nova Crystals come from Super Rebirth, and Iconic unlocks persist through future Super Rebirths. Events remain the free path — check the events page.
Specialist placement
BB-8 is a Astromech droid — put it to work in the Astromech area for a free +10% to its credits. Most players leave droids scattered in the wrong sections and quietly lose that bonus.
Rebirth requirements
Since the June 9 update, requirements cycle through four paths, one per Super Rebirth (dev-confirmed: 1→2→3→4, then repeat) — all four are now mapped. Listed variant or higher — a higher variant always satisfies a lower-variant requirement.
Not required on any of the four paths — BB-8 is a pure income / collection pick.
