Cosmetics: Hats & Base Paints

Every hat and base paint in Star Wars: Droid Tycoon and how to unlock them — rebirth milestones, crafting counts, Flawless builds, and event exclusives.

Updated June 5, 2026

Base paints

Your base’s paint is the island’s status symbol — most paints are milestone-locked, so the color tells everyone how far you’ve gone:

PaintRequirement
Red (default)None
YellowNone
BlueRebirth 1 time
GoldRebirth 5 times
DiamondRebirth 10 times
RainbowRebirth 15 times
Worker GreenCraft 100 droids
Battle OrangeCraft 250 droids
Astromech PurpleCraft 500 droids
FlawlessCraft 15 Flawless droids

BeskarCollect 25 different Beskar droids
Super BeskarCollect 50 different Beskar droids

Mister BonesMister Bones event
Mandalorian WorkshopMandalorian event

A few notes:

  • Flawless builds finally have a confirmed payoff — the Flawless and Super Flawless paints. At 1-in-100 odds on Beskar builds (see Droidex), 15 Flawless crafts is a long-haul flex.
  • Event paints are gone if you missed the event — like the Mythic droids, they mark who was there.
  • There are rings hidden around the map — fly through all of them for Ringmaster.

Hats

Hats are mostly found in the world — exploration rewards scattered around the map:

F1L-ON1, Cone of Coruscant, Rebel Snapback, Twin Sunhat, Speeder Cap, Fennec’s Flyer, Outrider, Hoth Holiday, AT-Topper, Order-67, Bantha Whip, Blaster Shade, Death Star Dish, Gridcap, Outeredge — all find-in-world.

The exception: the Bonehead Hat, exclusive to the Mister Bones event.

Hat locations are being mapped — if you’ve found one, tell us where.
